Meet the ‘Architect’

Certified Doula • Certified Childbirth Educator • Massage Therapist

• Placenta Encapsulator

Calm guidance. Thoughtful preparation. Support centered on you.

For more than a decade, I have helped people through some of life’s most physically and emotionally demanding moments. My work began as a licensed massage therapist, where I learned that meaningful care starts with listening—not assuming. Every person has different needs, experiences and ways of feeling safe. My role is to understand what matters to you and create an environment where you feel supported, respected and capable.

That same commitment led me into birth work in 2017. Since then, I have had the privilege of supporting families through pregnancy, labor, birth and the transition into parenthood. I have continued to deepen my knowledge as a State Certified Doula, Community Health Worker and Childbirth Educator. I bring a calm presence, practical preparation and honest conversation to my work. I am nurturing, but I am also direct. I will help you understand your options, ask meaningful questions and prepare for the realities of birth without creating fear or promising a particular outcome.

Through the families I have supported, one thing has become clear:

Preparation changes the birth experience.

Birth cannot always be controlled, but you can enter it informed, prepared and confident in your ability to make decisions. When you understand your options, know how to communicate with your healthcare team and have a thoughtful framework for navigating change, you are better equipped for whatever birth brings.

This work is especially meaningful to me because many of my clients are capable, accomplished people who are accustomed to managing complex responsibilities. Pregnancy can be one of the first experiences that reminds them that preparation and control are not the same thing. You do not need someone to take over your birth. You need someone who can help you prepare wisely, remain grounded and make informed decisions when the path changes.

When you hire me as your doula, you can expect support that is personal, professional and free of judgment.

I will take the time to learn who you are, what matters to you and how you prefer to be supported. Together, we will explore your birth preferences, prepare your support person, discuss possible changes and build a plan that feels realistic and aligned with your values.

During labor, I will not replace your partner, speak over you or make decisions for you. I will help create calm within the room, offer physical and emotional comfort, support your partner and remind you of the tools and options available to you. When questions arise, I will help you slow the moment down so you can communicate with your medical team and make decisions with greater clarity.

Whether your birth unfolds exactly as imagined or requires an unexpected change of direction, my goal remains the same: for you to feel heard, respected and supported throughout the experience.

Your birth belongs to you. I am here to help you design the preparation, support and confidence to meet it.
